Lostock Hall Primary School Parent Teacher Association
We are a group of parents who work together with teachers and staff to raise money for resources, trips and added extras to improve the experience of the children in school.
Over the last few years we have contributed towards the acquisition of iPads, playground markings and games, books for the library, book bags and PE bags for new starters, transport for children to attend swimming sessions, athletics kits for the school team, seasonal treats for the children and other items for school.
One of our key aims is to create opportunities for our students to have fun, and for families and the local community to come together to raise money for and celebrate our lovely school, and our annual activities calendar is busy! We mark many festive occasions in the year with special events, fairs, sales and competitions; last year’s events included a ‘welcome back to school’ event with inflatables in September, a Christmas Tree Sale and Market, a sponsored pancake flip, bingo night, a summer fair, book sales, cake stalls and much else besides!
We are always looking for new members to join us, and there are lots of ways to support the PTA. You could volunteer to help plan and organise events, or get involved on the day to run a stall or help wrap things up at the end. Perhaps you work for an organisation that could sponsor one of our events or donate prizes for one of our raffles or hamper drives? There are lots of ways you could help us in advance, or just come along to enjoy one of our events and support our school.
If you want to find out more about the PTA, you can visit our website at www.lostockhallpta.co.uk, find us on Facebook at Lostock Hall PTA, or email us at lostockhallpta@gmail.com
We truly appreciate the ongoing support that we receive from students, parents, families, former students and friends of Lostock Hall school, and our wider local community to help us be the best PTA possible.
